Meet your designer

My feet are deeply rooted in all things creative. From a young age I have always explored new ways of expressing myself and my creativity - whether it be through writing short stories and poems, or drawing and painting the world around me. With a keen eye for detail that has only grown with age, I can spend hours perfecting the things that I create - and love every moment of it. One thing I have always had a passion for is making people's days that little bit brighter - and have tried to utilise my creative skillset to do just that.

I have often created portraits of loved ones for birthdays and anniversaries, from individuals, to families, to pets - something that they can cherish forever, something that showcases their personality wholly. I am a story teller. I bask in the artistry of illuminating the tales of those around me, whether it be fictional or factual. That particular passion of mine led me towards a career in journalism - but whilst studying for my undergraduate degree, I found that the visual aspect of the work I was creating was more enticing to me than writing about it. Creating a visual narrative by garnishing the pages of a magazine with pretty fonts and pairing colours with the emotions within the story became an obsession. All the while, in my spare time I would be creating beautiful houses with decadent interiors on a home-styling game to 'wind down'. Creativity just pumps through me - I can't get enough of it. One day, I realised that creating those homes in my down time brought me endless joy. Everything I enjoyed about my career path was amplified when I was curating interiors. It seemed to be right in front of me the entire time.

So, I began researching as much as I could about the world of interior design outside of my natural instinct. The principles, the psychology of colour, the mechanics behind perspective sketching. Then with lots of support from my loved ones, I took the plunge and changed my entire career route to pursue what truly makes me happy - and what I know will make others happy, too. Interior design allows me to bring light to someone's life, and create a haven that they can savour for years to come. It encapsulates everything that I have always felt about creativity and the different worlds you can mould from the mind.

I simply aspire for my interiors to elevate the space around my clients, to a new dimension.
